At Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Lowcountry, our hearts are brimming with gratitude, and we’re excited to share some incredible news with you.

As we close the chapter on another meaning-filled year, we’re thrilled to present our “BIG Results Annual Report” – a dynamic blend of video and print that showcases the inspiring achievements we’ve accomplished together, the relationships we have nurtured, the successes of our Littles, and our ambitious goals for this current fiscal year.

Get your 2023 Holiday Party Tickets before they sell out!

WHEN: Saturday, December 9, 2-4:30 PM with lights following at 5 PM.

WHERE: James Island County Park Festival of Lights and the Wappoo Shelter.  Park in the lot adjacent to Santa’s Village.

WHO: Bigs, Littles, and immediate family members (of Bigs AND Littles) are welcome.

WHAT: Pizza, hot cocoa, s’mores, crafts, games, photo booth, giveaways, and holiday fun!

COST: FREE when each member of your party reserves tickets and tells the folks at the gate you are with Big Brothers Big Sisters.


It’s time to announce the 2024 Big Brother and Big Sister of the Year!

Our 2024 BIG Appreciation Party will have food and drinks and serve as a lively opportunity to honor Bigs and other volunteers, as well as to bestow our most special honor to the Bigs of the Year.

The Youth Council is in the planning stages of organizing a fundraiser and community service project in efforts to distribute care packages to the elderly community in early 2024. On Deember 6, the Youth Council will set out to establish BBSP Mission, Vision, Goal, and Objective statements for 2024.
