WHAT: Juneteenth, celebrated on June 19th, marks the day in 1865 when the last enslaved African Americans were informed of their freedom. It is a day of reflection, education, and celebration of African American history and culture. Our Youth Summit aims to honor this legacy by fostering a sense of unity, understanding, and empowerment among the youth.

This year’s summit will celebrate the #history of Juneteenth while highlighting the Arts with the theme, “Activism and Resilience through the Arts.”

Your participation in this summit is about learning, growing, and contributing to a stronger, more inclusive community. We believe that your voice and your actions can inspire change and create a brighter future for all.

Time & Location: 11 AM to 1 PM at Southstate Bank, 2430 Mall Dr., 4th Floor, North Charleston, SC

WHAT: Little Brothers ages 13-18 and their Bigs are invited to attend this seminar, which brings together youth with pillars of community excellence to learn how their dreams are realistic, achievable opportunities. This is a FREE EVENT, SPACE IS LIMITED, and REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED.

Joseph plans to become a merchant seaman and is in the process of completing all of his certifications.

Congratulations to Little Cole for graduating from the 8th grade!

Cole’s mom Lizette and Big Vijay applauded as Cole received Honor Roll and the Beta Club service award.

Beta Club members are responsible for fulfilling a minimum of 10 hours of community service, 5 in each semester.

Cole completed a total of 139 hours of community service!

Monthly (within the first year)/quarterly (12+ months or longer) phone calls are an important program requirement, especially to ensure health and safety.

They help us to make sure everyone is having a positive experience and allow us to course-correct quickly should a challenge arise. Also, you can call us ANY TIME should you need help of any kind.
